The Center for Faith, Science, and Technology equips Christians to live faithfully and wisely in our technological world, grounded in scripture and in Christian morality. ”

Key Outcomes

Many other universities deal with technical questions about technology or questions about how to be human in our technological world. Fewer bring these together in a way that answers the pressing questions of our world. Fewer still can address them both from the perspective of deep Christian commitment and from within a native polytechnic habitat. Answers to these questions only arise from robust theological and biblical engagement with scientific and technological fields of study.

The Center for Faith, Science, and Technology brings these fields together both at LeTourneau and around our nation and world to help Christians think clearly about faithfulness in this technological world. It will put LeTourneau University at the leading edge of conversations about faith, science, and technology. It will make LETU the trusted national voice on questions of the ethics, theology, and Christian practice of technology.

quote markHuman beings are created in God’s image. We are called to steward and shape our world in ways that bring forth its goodness and that work with God’s redemptive mission. Technology is part of this calling. ”
